WTAMU Band & Orchestra Camp Begins Sunday
Sunday, July 5, 2026, marks the beginning of one of the most exciting weeks of the year for the West Texas A&M University School of Music.
The WTAMU Band & Orchestra Camp will welcome nearly 900 junior high and high school students from across the state for an unforgettable week of music-making, learning, and fun.
Outstanding band directors from throughout Texas will be on campus working with our campers, helping create an inspiring musical experience filled with rehearsals, performances, and lasting memories. We are also honored to welcome Dr. Christopher Buckley as this year’s guest performing artist on euphonium.
The week will conclude with final concerts on Saturday, July 11, in Mary Moody Northen Recital Hall and the Fine Arts Complex Branding Iron Theatre. These performances are free and open to the public.
