2024 International Trombone Festival

The WTAMU Trombone Choir is very excited to announce that it has been invited to perform at the 2024 International Trombone Festival, which will be hosted this year from May 29 through June 1 at Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas! The ITF location moves around the world on an annual basis, so we’re very fortunate not to have to travel very far.

The 22 members of the WTAMU Trombone Choir, under the direction of Dr. Shanks, will present a performance as well as being able to take part in the rest of the festival, which is a worldwide who’s who in the world of trombone playing, teaching, and making.
