The WTAMU School of Music presents the Second Annual World Music Festival: Armenian Music Concert

This special concert celebrates the music of Gomidas Vartabed (1869–1935), the founder of Armenian Classical Music. Born in Anatolia, Turkey, Gomidas devoted his life to preserving Armenian cultural heritage, collecting and arranging over 4,000 Armenian folk songs. His legacy remains one of the most significant contributions to classical and ethnomusicological traditions.
The evening will feature an outstanding group of artists:
