WT Band Alumni Shout-Out

Congratulations to Dr. James Barger, Associate Professor of Saxophone, and the student quartet he coaches, Reverie Saxophone Quartet, on earning the silver medal earlier this month at the Coltman Chamber Music Competition at the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas.

Based in Canyon, Texas, Reverie Saxophone Quartet is dedicated to spreading the joy of chamber music, performing at the highest level, and giving audiences a memorable performance.

The quartet includes:

• Emanuel Garcia, soprano
• Dillon Martin, alto
• Joseph Fondren, tenor
• Carter Rybarski

This is a wonderful accomplishment, and we are proud to see WT faculty and student musicians recognized at such a high level.
